Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office Citizen Appreciation Award
Shortly after school was dismissed on Monday, January 29th, 2024, a motor vehicle accident occurred near Magnet Cove High School. Dalton Reid, a Junior at MCHS, and the son of Robert Reid and Rebecca Reid (MCES Nurse), checked on the occupants of the vehicles and directed traffic. Once Hot Spring County Deputy Feuerbacher and First Responders arrived on scene, Dalton continued to direct traffic until he was relieved by Mr. Alexander, MCES principal.
On February 19, 2024, The Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office and Magnet Cove School District presented Dalton with a plaque and certificate in recognition of this selfless act.
