Human Remains Located in Hot Spring County

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating after information was received regarding possible human remains located in a remote area of the county.

Investigators responded to the location and confirmed that the remains were human. The scene was secured and processed by investigators.

The remains were collected by the Hot Spring County Coroner's Office and were transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for examination and identification.

Investigators are working diligently to determine the identity of the deceased. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
